Collaborative Projects

These programs have been promoting intercultural and academic development for UTEC and international students for the last six years under Academic Collaboration Agreements. This joint effort has three main objectives: to give students from both universities a unique intercultural and social experience working in new environments, to enhance soft and problem solving skills working to solve real world challenges, and to potentially develop and implement a full-scale prototype that brings direct and significant impact to rural communities.

The programs are designed and led by UTEC Faculty and the Faculty from our counterpart and each complementary component of this collaboration takes place in a different country. The first part is a field trip to Peru and the second part is a lab experience abroad, at our partner university.
